This fast-paced series appeals to those with at least a little cardplaying experience, as well as players who want to get back into the game using modern methods.

During the week of April 28, we’ll have “practice bridge” sessions instead of the regular lessons. By then, you’ll know plenty about bidding and play, and you’ll be ready to try things out!

Bridge Lessons: Two Over One in a Nutshell starts October 21, 2024

“Two Over One in a Nutshell,” a series of lessons for Bridge players, starts Monday, October 21, 2024 and runs on Monday & Thursday evenings through November 25 (no class on October 31). This will be a guided discussion of selected topics from “Two Over One in a Nutshell” by Dee Berry. This series is appropriate for players with a reasonably solid understanding of the basics of the game of Bridge.

Space is limited to 20 students.

Learning & Practice activities at Seattle Bridge Center – Aug-Nov 2024

Practice Bridge on Monday August 26 and September 2 (yes, on Labor Day) – Cost: $5 per person (cash please) – 7pm to 9pm.

Rookie Duplicate Bridge on Tuesday evenings (no Rookie game on August 20). The game starts at 7pm sharp, please arrive at least 5 minutes ahead of time. Cost: $5 per player, cash preferred.

Beginner lessons: Ten Steps to Basic Bridge, Monday & Thursday evenings, 7pm to 9:30, September 9 through October 10. Cost: $15 per lesson, pay as you go, cards and cash accepted.

Intermediate bidding lessons: Two Over One in a Nutshell, Monday & Thursday evenings, 7pm to 9:30, October 21 through November 25 (no class October 31). Cost: $15 per lesson, pay as you go, cards and cash accepted. $12 for the book if you don’t have it already.
